Alcove Double Room
Experience the Alcove Double Room, a unique room concept, exclusively at SMARTY Cologne Dom. In history, kings have already referred to their stately retreat as an alcove. Each Alcove Double Room features two private sleeping places arranged in alcoves one above the other. The upper alcove can be easily reached via a few steps.
In the cozy, small rooms there is time to switch off from the hustle and bustle of the big city. Each alcove offers subtle ambient lighting with a night light, its own multimedia TV and a smartphone charging station. Alcove Double Rooms are perfect for couples, friends or colleagues who are looking for privacy to relax and unwind while traveling together.
All guest rooms are equipped with a glass refrigerator, safe, wireless smartphone charging, coffee capsule system and tea selection as well as tablet PC with digital guest directory.
An Alcove Double Room accommodates up to two persons. Each room has its own bathroom with a floor-level rain shower, hair dryer and toiletries. You always book the entire room, so a room with two alcoves cannot be shared with other guests.

Please note that room numbers 111 to 143 are located in the Main Wing (An den Dominikanern 1). The rooms with the room numbers 911 to 945 are located in the neighboring building Dom Wing (Marzellenstr. 9).
